Producing 100 Years of Safe Drinking Water

Solutions Through Science is proud to partner with the Chlorine Chemistry Division of The American Chemistry Council (ACC) as it launches its 100 Years of Safer Lives campaign, celebrating the 100th anniversary of the chlorination of drinking water. On September 26, 1908, Jersey City and Chicago became the first U.S. cities to use chlorine to help provide safe drinking water, one of the most significant public health advances in U.S. history. STS and ACC invite you to take The Clean Water Challenge. For each correct answer to the challenge quiz, ACC and its global industry partners will contribute funds to water chlorination programs and help bring safe drinking water to 3 million people in Africa.
